Old Grammarians Association

Old Grammarian’s Association

Once A Grammarian, Always A Grammarian

The Ballarat and Queen’s Old Grammarians’ Association (BQOGA) is the essential link between the School and past students from Queen’s College, Ballarat Grammar School, Queen’s Church of England Girls Grammar School, Church of England Grammar School, and Ballarat and Queen’s Anglican Grammar School.

The Association was formed in 1974 and keeps a vast network of more than 11,000 friends, business contacts, and mentors connected through various annual events.

The goal of the Association is to encourage communication between the School and past students to ensure memories are nurtured and celebrated. It focuses on:

  • Fostering good fellowship among all past students
  • Preserving the rich heritage of the School and its predecessors
  • Nominating representatives to the Ballarat Grammar Board and Foundation
  • Supporting and encouraging present students at the School by providing scholarships and bursaries, as well as other awards in recognition of outstanding effort or achievement

For any BQOGA enquiries, to become a member of the Association or express your interest in joining the Association’s Committee, please complete this form.
