"We brought 2 teams of U15 and U19 state underwater hockey representatives and a number of their parents to stay at Ballarat Grammar while attending the National championships. The rooms were impeccable and for easy childsafe event management, it was possible to accommodate all of the athletes securely in the same building. We had boys and their chaperones upstairs and girls with their chaperones downstairs. The facilities were excellent, with access to a common room and kitchenette - allowing for games of pool and watching live-streamed matches from the aquatic centre on the large screens during our down time. The catering from the kitchen was exceptional, and easily the best decision we could have made for the week. There was delicious, healthy food - and plenty of it, all served at times to suit the competition schedule. The staff, especially Irene, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Next time we are playing in Ballarat my first call will be to Ballarat Grammar. "
